Discussion Starters

Sometimes we don't have a meeting prepared.
It's rare, but it happens. Here's a sampling of
some of the great questions we've used to get a
discussion started; usually these can take up
the bulk of the meeting time if need be!

What can you not live without?
What's the worst injury you've ever had?
When was the last time you did something for the first time?
What's the riskiest thing you've ever done?
When did you take a chance with something and have it not pay off? pay off?
How do you think you'll know when you are an adult?
Does fear have a purpose?
Why is it so hard to trust? to love? etc
Why do people talk about changing the world, but don't work to change themselves?
What do you think the purpose of your life is?
Why do we question things? Can we question too much? Are people who don't question things happier?
If you could have wisdom, wealth, or beauty, which would you choose? why?
What do you find irresistable?
Are rules made to be broken?
What does school really teach you?
Do you want to be content?
What does it mean to be satisfied?
Why is it so hard to accept people for who they are?
How do you grieve?
Why do we care so much what others think?
What do you want that you can't have?
Why are we attracted to things that aren't good for us?
Who inspires you?
Who do you admire? Why?
Who can you rely on?
What do you dream about when you sleep?
Do you create your life, or is life something that happens to you?
